1989 EZGO Charger Issue
I just got my used 1989 EZGO. The charger seems to work, but where it plugs into the cart, it gets really hot after just 30 minutes. The cables don't get hot, only about a foot of the charger cord from the plug back.

Re: 1989 EZGO Charger Issue
Check the plug. It needs to be tight when you plug it in you should hear a click like sound when you do it. Tight fit good connection. Loose fit bad connection.
If the batteries are old and it's running a long time it will get hot also, the longer it runs the coolier it should get if everything is working properly. |
