8-6v battery placement
I believe i put this in the wrong section before, lets try this section. Ok, I am upgrading my clubcar to 48v. I see that 6v batteries have more AH than 8v batteries. Can someone post a pic on where they places the extra two batteries? I can go with 8v batteries and be good, but I would like to see how 8-6v batteries fit in an early 80's clubcar.
Thanks John |

Re: 8-6v battery placement
When people add extra batteries, they usually put them in the bag well.
Hope this helps, -Scott H. |

Re: 8-6v battery placement
The reason I was thinking 8-6v batteries was run time. I wonder what the run time difference is between 8 and 6 volt batteries.

Re: 8-6v battery placement
I guess if you can find a place to put the other two batteries. You only have so much room under the seat.

Re: 8-6v battery placement
I believe it does increase your runtime and its doable, I did it on my 1990 ds.... I used 2 pieces of aluminum angle and got it to fit... I had to trim some body by the seat since they ride higher and set does ride on them so I use a piece of foam across them for now until I drop it down another inch or so.
