Powerwise charger cycling question
Every time that I plug in the cart to charge it, it begins charging regardless, it seems, whether or not it is charged! Any time that I hear the charger cycle off, I can unplug the charger, then plug it back in and it begins charging for an hour or so. It always seems to be fully charged any time that I drive it. It is left on the charger for weeks at a time at a camp that the cart stays. It will be charged, but will recharge if I plug off then back on. Any ideas?

Re: Powerwise charger cycling question
How old are your batteries? you might have a bad one.I would not leave my charger on the car all the time.

Re: Powerwise charger cycling question
They are reconditioned batteries and they all test good - voltage wise. What is wrong with staying connected to the charger as long as it is working good and on automatic?

Re: Powerwise charger cycling question
Well If their is a storm lightning will pass through the charger and burn it up.If you have a bad battery and your charger is plugged in all the time it will never shut off and boil all the water out of your other batteries. When it is hot outside and the charger gets hot and the batteries get hot from charging the charger wont shut off causing your batteries to boil all the water out.hope this helps.
