Default Club Car Pioneer 900 @ Kawasaki 352 cc engine

This is an older hydraulic dump model & I am not able to locate the serial # or Mfg. date. The exhaust side of the block is devoid of markings. The other side is covered with a shield making the block invisible. I would like to either get the parts to rebuild this or purchase an OEM rebuilt motor. The Kawasaki tag has the markings YKAXS 352.2CA. Suggestions?

That's an FE350. Is there a serial number on the cart somewhere? Dash panel, or under the seat? The pioneer is pretty much the same as the DS or a Carryall.
Club Car doesn't offer those motors rebuilt anymore as far as I know, but you can still get parts for them. Talk to David Hicks at Revolution Golf Cars and he can get you OEM parts if you want to do the rebuild yourself.

Basically you just need to know if it has ACR or not. It should have a yellow sticker on the shroud, but often those are gone. There are differences in the piston, head, cam, lifters, and rocker arms for ACR vs Non- ACR engines. So depending on what you need, you'll need the right parts diagram for your motor.
Most common problem with those is the link rods get starved for oil and they will eat up the crankshaft, and if they get bad enough they'll knock the balance weight sideways and shove the balance weight stud out of the back of the block.
But they can also just break the link rod which will then usually chew up the cam sprocket and cause general havoc inside the case.

Thanks for the comprehensive reply. I think I saw a # on the dash somewhere. I'll look for it in the morning. Thx again!
