Multiple Wires Use a Single Ring Connector or Multiple
Alight fellow do it you it your selfer's and professionals would you rather have 1,2, or 3 wires coming out of a single crimped & soldered ring connector sealed with heat shrink tubing or 3 crimped & soldered ring connectors sealed with heat shrink tubing on a battery terminal?
The large red wire to + on the pack is factory, I think, with 2 wires coming out a single ring terminal. The Green wire Runs from the motor to the controller where it is joined to the yellow wire, in a single ring terminal which runs to the, I think, solenoid. |

Re: Multiple Wires Use a Single Ring Connector or Multiple
It would be OK to crimp 2 wires up to 16ga on the same terminal, just make sure you keep the strands parallel and don't twist the wires together.
For larger gauge wire which will carry more current, just use one cable per cable lug. Cut the heat-shrink tape around those factory crimps with the multiple large cables and look at the specialized lug that it uses (which also requires specialized crimping tools). |

Re: Multiple Wires Use a Single Ring Connector or Multiple
It just increases the diameter of the combined wires making it more difficult to insert them into the terminal and possibly forcing You to use a larger than needed terminal.
