Energizer batteries at Sam's - anyone use them?
Noticed their pile of Energizer cart batteries on the way out of the store yesterday. Is anyone using them? Anything good or bad about them?
About $84 each. How does that compare with other brands? |

Here in DFW texas those Energizer batteries are rated for 208 AH. And run around $550 OTD. I found some US Battery US-1800 208AH for $500 OTD. So I would shop around some more if I were you.

Sounds good. Just saw them and was wondering if anyone had experience with them.
I currently have US Battery 1800s. |

I needed new batteries last year so bought the energizer batteries from Sam's. This year I put them in my daughter's golf cart because they won't take a full charge. Learned my lesson. Bought T-105's this year. Won't make that mistake again

They were installed in my cart when I purchased it and after 3 years of use my son could only golf 14 holes before looking for a charge.

I have Duracell from Sam's. They definitely aren't the best, but they work for me.

To make a cheaper battery you simply put less lead into the construction. Thinner plates or fewer plates or both.

It would be interesting to compare the weight between a Trojan and a less expensive brand of battery with the same amp hour rating.

I use them but only 2 of them for my camper 12 volt battery power system when dry camping. Bought them in 2008 and still going strong.
For my cart I bought new Crown's. |
