Had to move one of the cross pieces 1/4" as it was hitting a divit on the bottom of the saddlebags.

And so now everything is aligning up better.

I had started making framing for around the saddlebags but seems they would be more trouble then they would be worth as something to snag stuff on rather then protect the saddlebags.

That is too cool! Storage places are always a good thing.

I'm finally happy with the mounting of the saddlebags & trunk. But all three have multiple holes to be filled.
Still have to finish mounting the fenders.
Plus figure a way to secure the bag well area.
And still have to make the battery racks.
And brakes still need adjusted.
And ....

And while it was only 100 degrees outside decided to fire up the forge & make some battery grabbers.

And cut up some junk thick rubber for the floorboard. And threw up some
OEM cup holders.

Looks good Huntinghawk, are you going to keep the tie wraps there? If you are you might want to get black ones, the colored ones and clear one will work for a period of time but the UV light will break them down, if you use black ones the UV light will not affect them. Just FYI, if you did not know.

Tie wraps are for mock up. Just an easy way to get stuff aligned. The panel with the door wasn't large enough so had to put the larger panel there first. Will have to cut a hole in that panel that aligns with the door. And not sure yet whether I can mig weld it to the frame or will have to bolt it on.

Plenty of dry storeage with the trunk & saddlebags. Doesn't matter what goes in the bag well, I don't want it to bonce out.
