It's the bullet connector!

Is the wire in the harness with the bullet connector a little bit heavier gauge than the rest?

I think your cart is a bit newer than mine so I would say be careful connecting it to the pack lol

This shows the bullet connector I'm talking about. If I disconnect this dead cart!

Mine is not wired like that. I don’t have a black wire in my main pack harness. I have a separate light harness with that black wire.

Attached are photos of the wires I left disconnected.

I also attached a photo of the removed OBC.

The OBC has a black wire connected to the - battery pack, other end went to the controller and a jumper wire that went from the controller compartment to the battery box, this was connected to the bullet connector in the light wire harness.

It is possible that this needs to supply ground to the relay under the dash?

Hmm I still think it needs connected. I think your spot on in your last statement.

Do you have an in line fuse holder laying around? Make a jumper and put a 1amp fuse in the holder and connect it if it's a dead short you'll just pop the fuse.

Tried holding it directly to negative post, and it did not energize the controller.

I’m at a loss, gonna throw in the towel for tonight.

On another note, when ZEVA looses power, it also looses all settings.

Was buzzing with low cell alarms, cells 15 and 16 were 0v.

That bullet connector powers the negative on the harness, it would only stop the cart if You need a 12v relay powered from the converter off the harness.

The Tow/Run switch power come from the Solenoid big post, originally there was a combo crimp on the battery cable and a quick connect that went to the Tow/Run switch.

Also check that both the LV&HV connection and the "Sleep" relay coil go to pack negative.

Make sure you changed the number of cells on the BMS to 14.

LV & HV on BMS all have ground.

I changed the cells to 14, but when I unplugged everything to go inside and think about the possibilities, it reverted back to 16 cells. I assume it will do this every time it looses power.

The multi-tap from the solenoid, I think that is my issue. I think the pink wire with the male spade went to this female spade on that multi-tap. Gonna look at the wiring diagram before throwing power to it.

Looking at the wiring diagram, I am certain the pink male spade goes to pack +.

Attached is the wire diagram showing the wire from the harness that connects to the tow/run switch, this goes to the hot side of the solenoid.
