Ventilation options after 625
Just wondering what others did for ventilation of the engine compartment after their 625 installs

Re: Ventilation options after 625
First I installed a 4" or 5" computer cooling fan in the seat cowl to the left of the shifter. It blows fresh air over the clutch and belt where the hot engine air exits the cooling shroud. That pushes hot air rearward. It is rated for about 120cfm.
Then open the rear of the engine cover where it curves down to meet the bag well. If you have a standard cart you could cut some pretty holes or cover the open section with an hvac air return duct grill. I have a metal cargo box so you can't see the open section unless you kneel down at the bag well and look in. My fan isn't waterproof but I don't hose down the engine compartment. |

Re: Ventilation options after 625
Then you are good. Install the fan and make sure you have an opening at the rear of the engine compartment to vent the heat.
