Re: alltrax mapping stock motor
Call Alltrax tech service and either Will or Ron will be glad to email it to you. You might as well have them send the one for your new FSIP motor at the same time.

Re: alltrax mapping stock motor
the 03 IQ can use the original Unimap-V1 attached with a maximum rpm setting of 6000, although I doubt it will reach that.
The dealer you bought the FSIP motor should be able to provide our maps for you. |

You might want to ask them what safe amps are for your OEM motor also. They’ll tell you how to set that also. |

Re: alltrax mapping stock motor
When you email Altrax support, ask for both field maps they have for the FSIP torque motor, one is biased for speed and the other for torque.

Re: alltrax mapping stock motor
Why not just tell him?
400 amp controller = no worry 500 amp controller = I set to 450 max armature. I didn't know Alltrax has a speed and a torque version of the speed motor? These maps were marked speed and more speed when the original testing was completed. Alltrax told me the more speed map not being for the general public. I have not used the more speed map. I program the regular speed map. To date, I have not had to submit a warranty failure for this motor. That's a pretty good record i'd like to keep. It goes faster than good sense with tall tires on the regular map (6000 rpm limit). According to Alltrax the motor can be induced to produce a couple more MPH with the speed map but, how are you going to do that without voiding the 6000 rpm warranty? |
