Finally got a chance to do a compression test on my cart. I got 180 on both cylinders.
I just can't figure out why it acts like it's running on one cylinder. I just bought a new carb I'm going to put it on tomorrow. If that don't help I'm going to pull the exhaust and see how it runs with it off, who knows I might have a mouse nest in there.

You said you just bought a new carburetor and was going to install it.

Then you said you were going to pull the muffler.

Next you said everyone had left you.

I do think you need to let us know about the new carburetor before saying we left you.

Lol yeah I've gotten ahead of myself. We've had rain and terrible weather since I got the new carb so I haven't put it on yet, all my work is done outside so the weather dictates my life.

Put on the new carb, same old ****. Took off the exhaust, same old ****. I've been stumped before but I always eventually figure things out. The only thing left is timing, I'm not even sure how to do that on a golf cart, any help would be appreciated.

Did you put a new battery in it ? Low voltage will cause your issues. Is the generator charging ? Put a meter on it and see if you get 14.5 volts when you rev the engine. Jack it up or put in neutral to do this but I am sure you know this.
