Just looking at the alltrax site I think I figured the wiring out. Do you have a part number or link for the 3 pin plug? I'm thinking about using a 3 position key switch.

Key out normal
Key in one click m1
Key in 2 clicks m2

Thanks
This is a very good keyed ON-ON-ON switch (one that i may use if my kid finds the switch in future) Key Switch

As for the correct 3 pin connector you need a Molex 39-01-4030

Simply cut off the old control port square connector at the controller. Then cut the green wire short and use a crimp on end cap (do this behind the dash and on the controller harness). Behind the dash you will crimp on 3 spade connectors for attaching to the switch.

This diagram should help. Very easy to utilize the existing Factory CC port wiring. (PHOTOBUCKET IS DOWN when it is up i can upload)

I use the same 3 position Apem Key switch and it works pretty well.

After 1 year using it, I could not really find any reason to have 3 separate modes so I programmed mine as Follows:

Most Counter-clockwise position (Removable):
I made this my "Normal" position and set it so the cart would be disabled from driving but still have dynamic brake and Regen.
Since "Normal" is also the default mode if the connector is unplugged, it works really well as a "Kill-Switch" and I can remove the key and take it with me.

Center position (non-removable):
I set this for "User1" and it is the mode I always use and the key stays captive in the switch so I don't have to worry about looking for it.

Most Clockwise position (Removable):
I set this for the "User2" and programmed it to be the mild mode for inexperienced drivers.
I can set it on that mode and remove the key so it cannot be changed.

Thanks you guys! Awesome info! I refuse to buy the alltrax version the price is ridiculous for what you are getting.

Here is the thing, many people are not mechanically inclined there fore companies profit off of those people.

I will pay for quality, but i see no reason to spend money on the same exact thing that i can make or build for the same results are a massively reduced price.

My battery cables for example. There is no reason to pay a small fortune when i have all of the tools in my shop already.

THAT said i am willing to make cable sets for people if they are interested at a marginal price that is good for both parties involved. That being said i am not trying to retire off of making cables
