Default 1999 Club Car DS

My neighbor has a 1999 Club Car DS electric. Any ideas as to why the only thing that works is the reverse buzzer? It won't even trigger the charger with good batteries in it. Thanks in advance, signed, LOST. :P

Is this a Series cart? Wondering if the OBC has failed....

I doesn't have the tow switch. I tried the instructions for resetting the OBC to no avail. Not even sure where to begin. This is why I stick to gas. I have deeper understanding. :P

Then that is a Series cart and the OBC controls the charger (On, Off, profile, etc.) and it provides the Negative for solenoid activation.

First try and run a jumper wire from the main pack Negative post over to the same solenoid "small" post that has the small Yellow wire on it. See if the cart will move then and let us know....

Is it a 48v or 36v cart? It could be a resistor cart.

Yep. Club Car made a lot of different carts about that time. 48 or 36 will tell us a lot.

Well, Anybody interested in buying a 1999 Club Car DS 48V? I figured if I said it was for sale it wouldn't sit long on the 4th page of the forum.

We put the batteries individually on a 12v charger and brought them up to 7.5 volts. We then reconnected them and plugged in and the charger took right off. Thanks gents.
