Default batt light

[what would cause the battery warning light to blow? is it activated by the charger or the obc? 2001cc48v no electric upgrades YET.

Sometimes they just go bad like anyother light,have seen it happen before.

ok. but what if installed new one and after first charging session it is out too? can the charger knock out the light?

Do you still have those bad batteries in this cart? Maybe the low battery light is overworked
How low is your voltage going when you run the cart uphill? You gotta watchout you do not damage the controller with low voltage situations.

Just in case...

There are two sets of wires where the light is, one is for the Yellow/Orange Indicator light and the other set is for a Battery Indicator Gauge and is 48 volts at all times.

Hopefully they're not mixed up or exchanged when you put in a new light.

got new batterys before the brake problem. which is why i went ahead and got the new light. just now got around to second charging session. boy what a money pit.but wouldnt have it any other way. this golf car stuff is sweet and endless possibilities thats a nice car you got there scubabud the motor working with stock controller or upgraded too. same upgrade i was thinking of doing but not sure of performance

When charging the light shouldn't be on... mine only comes on when the total battery voltage is low after driving all day or on occasion when sitting for a while and it’s letting me know it would like a charge.

mine works the same or used to but now it is out again .just replaced it. the power it gets when it does work, does it come from the obc?
