electric ez go problem

I bought a used ez go. When I turn the key on and push the pedal to go, sometimes it will and sometimes it wont. I am new to the golf cart world and really don't know where to start. Can someone please help so I can take the kids for a ride.

sounds like a bad solenoid. Bypass it and see if it consistently runs.

Would need more information. When you turn the key on does it go through the test cycle? Ie: do you hear two clicks and the cart unlocks and locks the brake?
Do you hear the solenoid click?

This thread is 16 years old....I think they probably figured out the issue.
