Re: Custom Cart Build!!
Hmm, don't think I mentioned it but height is about 5'8, width is 6 feet in front 5 1/2 in back, and it's wheelbase is 8 feet, with the frame coming in at about 9 feet

Re: Custom Cart Build!!
Are you gonna leave the rear a half-a-foot narrower than the front? I like what you've done with it since you've had it. With that kinda power it looks like you'd want the extra stability for turns at speed in the loose stuff! Love the aluminum body too man!

Re: Custom Cart Build!!
Wow sorry guys it's been a while since I've updated. Came back to a load of posts, haha!
The buggy is done! I've taken it out 2 times to the desert so far, just got back from my second trip yesterday. The thing is solid. As for what SCRAP said, I'm going to widen the rear by getting a wider rear axle, although it was surprisingly stable in loose dirt. Top speed runs were at about 90 mph in 3rd gear, wouldn't wanna take it further than that for fear of loss of control. C-BO, the front end has around 8 inches of travel on it. It is plenty for what I'm going to be doing, the suspension handles really well considering it was a custom designed setup from who knows where. I'm gonna post up some pics and hopefully a video if it will work. Thank you guys for all the support! this was after a hill climb, you can tell how high it was from where my truck is Check out the video, it won't show on this site but if you click the link it will work!!
