Default Club Car Lithium Conversion complete

Please see my other parts for sale at this link:

http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/golf-...ca-1998-a.html

I decided to do a golf cart project as something to do with my son. The cart was running, but needed a full set of new batteries, and instead of that, I decided to do the full conversion to Lithium Ion.

A friend lined up a good deal on an Alltrax controller, and a new 10HP motor, and he had about 30 ft. of welding cable left over from a project he did.

Pics attached that show the process. with stock tires, we GPS'd it at 24mph on flat level ground.

I believe these are 64 Ah. I purchased the battery from EVBatterycenter.com. unfortunately, they didn't have the fully assembled batteries anymore, so this one was a diy for sure.

it's been a fun project, I'm still doing some fine tuning, but when I tune it up to the 600 A on the controller, everyone that rides in just giggles the entire time.

lots of fun

Not sure on the range, So far, max charge has been 95%, and driving with a fairly low setting on the controller, I've been able to do ~ 10. miles with only consuming about 10% battery while running at full throttle.

my challenge now is that I can't quite seem to get the charger to turn off at the right time.

I can say thet with the Alltrax 48600 controller, it will spin the tires on dry pavement. It has enough power to snap your head back when taking off.
