First... Are you SURE that your new A-Arm lift will accept an 8" rim? (most lifts require 10" rim or larger)

And second... My campground has road conditions exactly like yours, (as most of us do!)
I've had "knobby" tires on my cart for 5 years and they still look like new,
they won't wear out as fast as you think... Trust me!

If you are worried about wear and want a offroad tire the desert type seem to work the best like the duro, all trails, etc. That flat big mud truck looking tire wears pretty good on pavement (flat meaning the tread tends to be more flat across the tire, instead of rounded). Make sure your toe is set right or it will scrub the fronts off. I have run trail pro large knobbies since 99 and they still look good. They do round out with more air the 22 will measure 23 then. They do very well on trails. I don't run hardly any pavement just once in a while, mostly gravel road/drives, trails, sand, wooded areas, lawns. The desert tires are not that great in mud, the knobbies are a little better, then you go to a mud tire. I'd recommend an ATV rated tire they are more resistant to punctures.

Being that we don't know the brand of the kit, where you bought it from, or, even what brand cart it's for...
The best thing for you to do is contact the supplier that you bought your kit from, and ask them!

I just recently installed 8" ITP wheels on my Allsport lift and the wheel does hit in a full turn. I've got 1/4" washers installed which clears now until I can get a permanent spacer.

Another problem is stock cart wheels have no offset, the cart will not be as stable. The 8" douglas kart wheels I have are 3+5 offset they are actually 8" wide too compared to 7" of most and stock wheels. I built my lift the 8s work fine but most lifts do say 10" wheels now. If you buy 8s you have to get the ones dished (bell) in the back to clear the drums, with 10s any atv wheel with the 4/4 pattern will work IIRC.

The stock wheels are 3.5+3.5, so a 3+5 wheel has .5 more clearance on the inside to clear frames/fenderwells/etc., and sticks out the side of the cart 1.5" more for stability.

so if i understand, i may be able to use my stock wheels for 2 weekends until i decide on new wheels...

i may have to add a few washers to each stud to get more offset if they rub the frame or linkages on U-turns .....

and of course i wont run on any heavily cambered hills until i get the proper footing......
