Beef up my buggie
I have a 1993 ezgo 2 stroke Marathon. What can I do to beef up the motor and what do I need to lift it off the ground for trail riding?
Where would I get parts and how much modification would I have to do to get front air shokes and rear or just air bags? Thanks Jim |

Re: Beef up my buggie
well its not too hard to make a lift for it just make some front blocks and get bigger shocks and for the rear get polaris sportsman shocks and motor wise get a aftermaket air filter from a snowmobile

My 88 ez,
Knowing what to do now, I could install my lift in a stock cart in one weekend for about $50 in steel. My motor is strong. I just disconected the governor and I get close to 30mph. I can carry 4 adults easily. |

Re: Beef up my buggie
Oh, forgot to tell you,
I ended up with about 11 inch lift. Swapping out the front "half" leaf springs for an extended front frame to hold 2 full leaf springs. Rear is just extention of the swingarm mounts. |
