I just started on this lift kit last night. I started on the rear since I had to do brakes at the same time. What a mess. The HD leaf springs did not include bushings (which they say they come with), and then I pull out the lift blocks and they are for a larger axle tube than my cart has. I have a full 1/2" of play in them. Steeleng is not making me happy right now!

The steeling blocks are larger than the axle, but they should sit pretty well on the perches below the axle. Mine don't actually "touch" the axle anywhere, just sit on the perch below it.

I am not sure about HD leaf springs, I didn't put those on.

I can look at my axle tonight , I don't remember how much room the axle has sitting in the lift blocks.

Yeah i talked to their tech and that is what he told me. Hey its a golf, so whatever. It will ride. That is not the only problem with the block though. It does not have enough angle to them. When i tightened the bolts down it literally bent my leaf springs into an "S". (And yes i have them angles the correct way) I am going to pull them back out and probably cut more angle into them.

That doesn't sound right to me. I've installed several of these kits and never had an issue with anything like that. Mine sits great, no issues at all.

I had to remove both leaf springs at the same time to get the axle to drop down far enough for everything to fit back together. Are you trying to do it one side at a time maybe? I don't think it would flex enough to do it one side at a time.

i know i had trouble getting mine all together because the motor was still grounded to the frame above the starter generator, nothing would line up and we couldn't figure out why. until finally that ground wire broke and everything lined up

I didn't have that issue, but I have a carryall. The issue I had was the pulse line going to the fuel pump was juuuuuuuust long enough to make it for a few miles before I hit a bump or something and knocked it the rest of the way off the nipple. oops lol

Mine seems like it was designed to drop the front of the engine pan down with a spacer bracket. I've seen some kits that do that, but this one didn't come with that bracket.

I am changing out leaf spring bushings and engine snubber rubber this week so i will go over all of it and figure it out (I hope).

Just a heads up, I had to flip my snubber bracket upside down after the lift
