Hooked a friend's charger which is known to work, up to the Precedent. It kicked on as normal. After a few seconds. Then went to hook the original up and no go. En

Any other doubts that it would be OBC versus the Charger? Don't want to pull the trigger on a 300-400 dollar charger if it's something else.

Now that you've tested and confirmed that the charger is indeed your culprit you don't need a much better reason to purchase a DPI charger from the likes of a site sponsor http://www.cartsunlimited.net/battery-chargers.html at an extremely fair price.... What makes this price even more fair is that you get to bypass the carts weak point the OBC at the same time...

Why replace with DPI over PD3
Did you know that if the power fails and comes back on that your PD3 will not resume charging? A DPI just picks up and resumes on return of power...
A DPI float charges your batteries keeping them at better than 100 % SOC which will ward off sulfation...

Hopefully your friend lets you charge your batteries fully so that you don't harm your batteries by letting them sit around partially discharged....
