Charger not coming on
Just bought 96 club car,48 volt, plug charger in and low click in about 2-4 secs, but ammeter does not move, batteries are at 50.2,tried on another cart and charger works fine,
Checked fuse on charger port and small fuse in Yelo rubber holder and both are good. Should I order new obc? New charger? Help |

Re: Charger not coming on
Make sure the charge port wires are connected. The positive wire can get left off lots of times.

Re: Charger not coming on
You should not have "Total Pack" voltage at the charger receptacle + and - terminals.
The negative wire from the charger receptacle goes through the OBC SCR circuit so the voltage should be more like 42v at the receptacle. Make sure the 10ga negative from the charger receptacle goes to the OBC harness and that another 10ga negative wire goes from from the OBC to controller B-. |
