leaf springs to top of axl?
Hey anybody just move leaf springs to top of axl get some new u bolts and make an extension of the shock to moun on and get a real cheap lift of the rear end on my 2008 pds. Any other issues i might incounter?

 You may have to reroute the break cables if they are too short. |

Thinking you would get alot of axle wrap. Not sure how you would hold the axle to the spring to keep it from slipping. I don't think U-bolts are going to cut it.

you must have some sort of "saddle" for the spring locator to fit in. you can buy the generic type on ebay. many use a dodge part and it is a commonly used part on spring over conversion on 4x4s. good luck.
its called a spring perch. looks like this and come different sizes. |

Got it done. Just used parts from around garage. Looks awsome, back end sits up just the right amount, got ridof the rear end sag
