Napa Battery Question (Just read before you flame)
1st off, yes I know Trojans are the best. If I didn't have a child support payment equivilalent to the national debt I wouldnt ask this- but like everyone says you buy what you can afford. In three years I will be done with c.s. and probably need new batteries too, so it all works out in the end.
My dilema, I need batteries quick. I have a cousing who owns a NAPA and is getting me 6 batteries at cost and in 3 interest free payments. Hence, my reason for this buy. That being said, I am taking his offer and placing the order in the morning. I have read the comparison chart but have also read that the info on the NAPA's is out dated (2007). The chart on here shows the equivilalent specs to the Exides. It is my understanding that these are now made by DEKA. Does anyone know what the equivilalent DEKA model numbers are for the NAPA's? Thanks for any input and you others for biting your tongues. |

Re: Napa Battery Question (Just read before you flame)
i have some dekas that i have had in my cart for three years now, and they still perform as good as the day i got them. Plenty of power and life, charge about once a month and they are still strong when charged, and yes i do use my cart almost daily to pick kids up from the busstop and also around the yard and woods!!! Buy what you want, its your money and no one elses!!! My .02

I don't believe Trojans are any better than others out there.
If you are paying anymore than $72 apiece for these, Sam's Club sells 6v Energizer GC-2's that have similar specs and weight as Trojan T-105's. |

I work for an outfit with a huge warehouse with dozens of electric forklifts & pallet jacks. The maintenance crew uses Deka for all the equipment. So they have to be pretty descent batteries.

Thaks for the input. And thanks to you guys beating your heads against the wall to keep from ripping me a new one. Im sick of trying to research the specs on these things, I guess the info's just not easily found.
