2004 Club Car DS looking for a little more speed
I have a 2004 Club Car DS. Everything is stock and it runs 11 mph according to my GPS. What is the best way to get close to 20 mph out of the DS? Will installing a controller do the trick? How can I test to find out what controller I need.
Thanks for the help the forum is great. |

Re: 2004 Club Car DS looking for a little more speed
What system is it? 36 Volt? 48 Volt? Does it have a lever f&r switch or a toggle switch? Do you have a Tow/Run switch under the seat?

It has a 48 volt system and a Foward, Neutral, and Reverse lever. I am not sure about the tow run switch. There is not an obvious switch. Would it be easy to identify? Where would it be located under the seat?

Yes, under the seat it will be a toggle switch on a orange panel.

Use the search function and you can search through old threads to learn what others have done as well. Good luck on your upgrade.

Make sure your accellerator pedal is adjusted right, some courses turn them back so they wont run as fast and the drunk golfers dont get hurt.
