Default Ezgo stockdrive clutch

I have a drive clutch question and this Forum is GREAT. I have an early 2001 EZ TXT with lift etc. I've put the power pack and 28 degree ramps on my clutches. I have come across a 30 HP Kohler with a 1 1/8 shaft. If I purchase it I will be depleted for a new drive clutch. Will my stock clutch work and how much power can I put to it before it self-destructs? Any help will be greatful.
New into the carts and really liking it.
Thanks

stock clutch will work fine depending on the shaft. Get the CPP adapter if its 1".

Then put the 36deg helix back in.

I am pretty sure the stock clutch is 1 1/8 which is what I need, just wasn't sure that with the taper I would get it onto the shaft enough. About how much power HP will a stock clutch take before it shreds, would give me a reason for the wife when I shred it to upgrade

The stock clutch wouldn't be 1 1/8 unless it has been bored out at some point.

The taper won't go on to a 1/18 shaft correctly

It is a 30mm 1:10 taper.

It can be bored and broached to 1 1/8 keyed
