Why do I envision that "older man" laughing with your cash in his hand? Mr Parker, as long as you like your new toy....all is good. If you need any help, or have questions, just ask. There are some great helpers hear.

I don't think you got screwed at all. I think you got a good deal. A cart like that sells for around 2 grand in my area. And it's like Dave said, if you're happy with it it is a good deal!!! Personally, I like it and if I were close enough I'd give you $1700 for it!!!

Hey you need to take the battery cables loose ONE at a time, and clean very good, and reinstall, and tighten good
cables are nasty

What good to clean the batteries?

Is it Ok to Use the water hose to clean around the batteries?

Anything on the cart that cant get wet?

The forward & reverse switch, from here on referred to as the F&R, and the controller and the solenoid and the micro switches ..... OH just about all of the electronics don't like water... cover them with a bag before you use a garden hose.

There are products available at the automotive store for cleaning terminals .. some are spray on wash off, but there is no substitute for scrubbing or scuffing the connections clean, then put a protectant of your choice on them to prohibit corrosion...
