2002 Gas Club Car DS Starts and then Shuts down
When I start the Club Car it starts right up but if I take my foot off the gas it shuts down. I have removed the air filter then cleaned the carb. Any Suggestions of what to do next? Thanks for your help.

It is supposed to start when you push the pedal and stop running when you remove your foot from the pedal.

Welcome to the Forum. These are some "wise guys" here both literally and figuratively. And no, it should not immediately shut off, but in general, when taking your foot off the pedal, the engine shuts off. Fuel efficient beasts they are.
Come on guys. We don't want to drive the noobie away after his first post. That would keep ME in the noobie position and I don't want to stay there. Of course, some of you LIVE on this site (30,000+ posts  )...and for that I am grateful . Your advice and council have been instrumental in keeping most of us out of the weeds. |
