Hi Sergio,
First, thank you for all you do for everyone on BGW. Yes, I started buying the 58.8V and lowering them to 58.3. Most of the blue trim pots are by themselves and located at the DC output end of the board. Turning inward usually lowers the voltage. I just connect the voltmeter to the DC end and plug it in. It immediately shows 58.8. Then just tweak it to where you want it.

I have also had a couple chargers with different boards inside and there were 4 pots side by side. I just noted where the pots were set and turned slightly, if no voltage change, return to same setting and move to the next one til I found it.

This is the latest one I bought, from different supplier and allows you to choose the DC connector supplied with it.

how to prevent over discharging with this set up? Just look at your voltmeter?

By chance does anyone have a Connection diagram for the BMS? There wasn't one in the box when it was delivered.

I'm pretty clear on how the individual wires are hooked to the Batteries themselves, but not so clear on the B- and C- wires. Probably simple but I'm not understanding the need for 2 of each wires. Haven't found that information in my searches. Thanks again in advance for the help.

Very interesting to watch the pioneering work here in this and the other lithium threads. Thanks for posting all the details.

Don't know if it will help with these Leaf installs, but I have an E Bike charger that is pretty sophisticated, and most charging parameters can be programmed on your PC and a number of presets can be stored in the charger. Will do Lithium or LA, up to about 60V packs on the version I have - They also make the same one that goes to 84V I think, but less amperage.

Not sure you could get it to talk to a BMS in realtime however.

Beautiful work PingEye3! Following this thread looking forward to bigguy9's updates. I'm also researching my own retrofit to lithium. Recent purchaser of a '98 Carryall 6 w/ 64" bed (my 1st cart). Purchased with dead batteries so deciding to go lithium from the start. If I could trouble for a question: Looking for info on using 7 vs 14 modules (leaf) and G1 vs G2? My use for the cart is hauling/working around rental properties. Travel distance not as big a worry as hauling/pulling power. Thanks and good luck with your build out.

Yeah I think I’m gonna start to do the covert after the first of the year. Interested in what lithium’s to buy. Also will my new leader on board charger work with lithium? I assume not but just making sure.

I have the same charger I am using on my lithium cart. I have 18 cells and run the charger to 62v. You are right the flexibility of this charger is great I would highly recommend it to anyone in search of a totally customizable charger.
