Re: Planning Engine Swap
Nearing completion
This summer I will wire up the rear taillights to run when the parking lights are on Now it's time to enjoy it and also figure out why there's still a slight fuel leak at the fuel filter |

Re: Planning Engine Swap
Looks good, I'm thinking about moving my 670 muffler down by the axle to reduce heat under the seat but not sure how it will hold up to all the sand a salt water. Might get a different, smaller muffler and toy around with placement.

Re: Planning Engine Swap
With all the parts, cradle, clutch, and supplies purchased, minus the parts and stock engine sold......total investment is $700

Re: Planning Engine Swap
I'm going to work on the taillight wiring this weekend
I want to have taillights and front parking lights on at the same time It's up and running well. Starts easy and will idle for days The exhaust has a good tone and isn't too loud |

Re: Planning Engine Swap
Yes I'll post something up
It was trial by error, the key switch seems to be universal from my findings and there's many configurations, depending if you have a 4, 5 or 6 tab switch |

I adjusted the idle lowered today, was having a hard time with the F/N/R lever
