Fun stuff right there. Especially when the sleeve welds itself to the bolt and even with the nut off it ain’t goin anywhere…

Gonna be good as new when it’s done though

Surprisingly enough… none of them were seized… probably because they’ve had the crap beat out of them for the last several years.
There were no bushings on the rear springs or shackles. Just sleeves and bolts and there ain’t much left of them either.

Sounds like pretty much every cart I’ve ever bought!

Luckily this one is in good hands. Can’t say the same for anything I’ve had

It won’t be perfect, but it will have lots of new life. The lady who owns it mostly wants it to ride the grand-babies around on when they visit, and ride it out in the woods on her property to chase after the turkeys and deer.

Progress…

Painted a few things. Lift kit in, all new brakes, shocks, and the new tires mounted on. Next up is the stuff on the front.

Gotta get the hubs cleaned up and re-greased, but the front end is together. Next stop is pedal parts and fix the bent up floor pans. Then I can start wiring everything and put the body back on.
