Need a battery charger
My neighbor has a 2001 Yamaha G16E. I'm helping them get the cart going. It needs new batteries and a battery charger. The chargers I saw on ebay for this model had round prongs on the charger and this cart has a charge receptacale that accepts a (crows foot) 2 prong blade style. Any advise on this and where to purchase? Thanks

Re: Need a battery charger
I am going to guess that you have a 36 volt G-16 and the charger that you are looking at on eBay is for a Club Car or a Yamaha Drive

Have you checked Plowman's? Don is a site sponsor and is easy to work with.

Re: Need a battery charger
Almost anything with a crows foot will work. Just make sure it's capable of at least 15 amps. Do NOT get one of the cheap 5 or 6 amp trickle chargers.

Re: Need a battery charger
Lester Summit II charger in my opinion is the absolute best charger out there..Bluetooth capable, comes with whatever charger end you want or can be hardwired on board, and has away feature where you can leave plugged into cart as long as you want and it will kick itself back on any time it gets to low without having to unplug. As stated quality is top notch, so is price.

The Lester Summit II is very flexible - good choice.
