Not sure. It would depend on what type of drive system it has.

you should look for a 36 volt series motor and give yourself a little upgrade in speed and torque

36 volt motors run great on 48 volts. I had one in my cart for years before get a PQ

36 volt sounds like the way to go. From what I have found on used 48 volt motor a little more money and I can get a new one.
