The DCS controller (Curtis 1206SX) defaults to forward and has to be told to do reverse by putting battery pack voltage on Pin-4 (Orange wire).

Does the beeper sound when F/R lever is in R?

If the beeper is disconnected, check for voltage on Pin-4. You'll have to lift the plug slightly to touch the pin with your DVM's test probe.

Here's a schematic for a DCS cart.

Check the passenger side microswitch.

Make sure the cam presses the switch lever when F/R is in R.

Unplug the in-line plug going to the passenger side microswitch and check voltage. Should have voltage on the Orange/Red wire that mates with the Blue wire to the switch.

Attached is a schematic that better shows the F/R switch wiring and a photo of the cam and switches when in R.

No voltage at the connection. The Rev. beeper has never worked, even when the cart worked perfectly. ????

If there’s no power on the orange/red wire going to the switch on the passenger side chase back through the harness and find the break or just run a jumper over to the same wire on the driver side..
