Re: EZGO DCS 2 Forward positions
The DCS controller (Curtis 1206SX) defaults to forward and has to be told to do reverse by putting battery pack voltage on Pin-4 (Orange wire).
Does the beeper sound when F/R lever is in R? If the beeper is disconnected, check for voltage on Pin-4. You'll have to lift the plug slightly to touch the pin with your DVM's test probe. Here's a schematic for a DCS cart. |

Re: EZGO DCS 2 Forward positions
Check the passenger side microswitch.
Make sure the cam presses the switch lever when F/R is in R. Unplug the in-line plug going to the passenger side microswitch and check voltage. Should have voltage on the Orange/Red wire that mates with the Blue wire to the switch. Attached is a schematic that better shows the F/R switch wiring and a photo of the cam and switches when in R. |

Re: EZGO DCS 2 Forward positions
No voltage at the connection. The Rev. beeper has never worked, even when the cart worked perfectly. ????

Re: EZGO DCS 2 Forward positions
If there’s no power on the orange/red wire going to the switch on the passenger side chase back through the harness and find the break or just run a jumper over to the same wire on the driver side..
