Re: What did you do to/for your club car today?
Gave it a good wash with the pressure washer. The batteries certainly look nice, like new.

Re: What did you do to/for your club car today?
Began the total refurbishing of my 2004 new-to-me stock DS cart. It is golf cart, strictly, and that is what I will be using it for.
I am doing the refurb in multiple steps. I removed the cash cover and storage rack above the dash yesterday. Cleaned them up, then painted over the "burl wood" finish with Dark Copper Metallic, and 4 clear coats. Came out great. Nest step might be the winter enclosure. It is dark brown, and I am going to paint it black, as the car will eventually be Dark Copper Metallic. |

Re: What did you do to/for your club car today?
Our faithful '03 series DS performed yeoman service over the holiday break by hauling eight massive wagon loads of vegetation about a mile from the house to be shipped. The plants included several Florida invasive/noxious weeds, including a massive amount of scaevola taccada (beach naupaka), Brazilian pepper, and a small Australian pine. There were also massive amounts of seagrape from trees blown down during hurricane Irma. The trailer was massive: 12'x4'x3' high. These series carts are slow, but torquey.
As a reward I cleaned the entire cart top to bottom, inside and out. I even Armor All-ed the tires and front bumper and meticulously cleaned the batteries. To top everything off, I added the family name stickers (described in another post) to the sides. When all was done the it looked brand new. Even seemed to run a little faster than its usual 12 mph. |

Pulled rear body to make sub install easier since the box will take up all of the empty space over the motor and awaiting delivery of my PQ executioner.
