Do a test on the motor to rule it out as the culprit. Flip Tow/Run switch to TOW. Disconnect main positive and main negative battery terminals. Remove all four wires from the motor studs. Do an ohms/resistance test between posts A1 and A2. You should have continuity. Do it again between F1 and F2. You should have continuity there as well. Next do a test between each individual post and the metal case of the motor. You should not have continuity to any of the four posts to the case. If you do, you have a short and the motor is the problem. Post your results.
