Default 12V Distribution on a Precedent

I finally got around to cleaning up my 12V wiring (Nole would have been appalled at the way it was). My reducer is under the front body panel so putting the fused distribution at the front somewhere was the preferred option, but where? There is so little room inside the dash so that was out of the question. In the end I have mounted it to the inside of the steering column shroud, there is enough room on the right of the steering column.

The main difficulty with that location is that you need to remove the dash (including the bit with the cup holders on it) to get to the fuses, or to add accessory power. Not that it is difficult to do that.

Here's a picture of it fitted while the dash panel is out (with only the visible sockets wired in). The eagle eyed among you may notice that the 12V socket on the bottom is wired backwards - it has now been corrected.

Appropriate fuses have now been fitted according to the attached accessory, instead of the ones shown in the photo. I measured the amperage pulled by each accessory to work out the fuse size in each case. For example my LED light bar and tail-lights pull just under 3 Amps so I have used a 5 amp fuse for that connection.
