Default Help wiring ‘98 Taylor Dunn R680

Hi, I have a ‘98 Taylor Dunn R680. I’m looking for a wiring diagram (the repair manual I have doesn’t include the electrical system).

It uses a 6 pole (double throw) starter solenoid, a Hitachi GSB107-04a Starter-Generator and a Voltage Regulator (D+, DF, D-).

When I press the gas peddle the starter solenoid makes a rapid ticking sound and the car won’t start. If I bridge the large contacts on the Start Solenoid it starts fine (but it’s not charging).

The rear end of the starter solenoid has the ground for the electromagnet on the front of the start solenoid. That means that when I press the pedal the solenoid is activated (which moves the magnet to the front bridging the main contacts and sending 12v to the starter), but that disconnects the ground and so the magnet slams back to the back disconnecting the starter and back and forth.

I found some wiring diagrams from Dixie Electronic, but my car isn’t wired like any of the examples.

Any suggestions?
