So I looked this morning and found out part of my snubber was still on there. perhaps why I hadn't heard the "banging" that everyone says they hear. I may have to take it for a test drive after work to see what it sounds like.

But i have been reading, I'm still not sure I understand where it needs to go. Should it be raised up, so My snubber isn't smashed against the bottom as pictured? or should it be raised up so it touches the top piece?


here is what I think I have figured out: the bracket has to be higher to hold the snubber against that top horizontal piece? i think?
