I cleared auto cal and even reset the controller. I started checking the solenoid, with actual help this time, and think it might be the culprit. I thought i heard it clicking before but i was wrong. Im going to pull it down and remove the resistor and check it.

Leave the resistor OFF since the XCT does not use it.
Add a "Regen" diode which is a 6amp (6A10) or 10amp (10A10) diode on the big posts with the striped/band side towards the battery.
