Yea, just the outside though. The stationary sheave is steel on the newer one (thus the rust) and my old one was all aluminum. The innards of Matts is a lot cleaner and less worn than mine, which is all that matters. Best of all, it is quieter. My little sister comes out of the house when I am drivin the cart around and says "Hey, it doesn't sound like a golf cart anymore!" I just laughed and said that it sounds like a NORMAL golf car now... LOL

Thanks for the complement mphillip! I try to help others best I can when it comes to these older carts. I know from experience how difficult it is to find info and how-to's on them! I used to have instructions on how to change rear differential oil but it got lost in the hack... I should re-post it ey?
