Default Re: New Deer Hunting Cabin Advice?

the atv place we go riding at has some cool cabins.. all they are are HUGE metal tubes i guess like a silo or something.... probably 12ft tall metal tunnel things... they built a flat floor of course in there.... on the right side is 6-7 bunk beds and the left side has a table to put stuff and pretty much a 3-4ft walkway to the end of the tunnel.... they have flourescent lights in the ceiling... the entire walls are wood planks so it looks like an odd cabin.. has electrical outlets... they just built a wall, windows, door on the front.... that cabin is laying down

they have one that's a tunnel going up like a silo... has the metal roof.... they cut a door out.. framed it and put a door with screen door.. cut two windows out... planked the entire walls, floor, ceiling, has a 3 stacked bunkbed, lights, electrical, etc.

pretty neat but you'd def. want to run a window A/C during the summer here

why do you need all those permits and stuff for some hunting land? everywhere here people clear some land... bring in older RVs, popup campers.... clear some areas for tents if you want... our deer camp had 7-8 campers sitting there... we made a few outhouses away from camp, built a barn to store stuff and a lean-to basically to put a few couches, table, a map of the 800acres
