I adjusted the throtle rod and the pedal but I can't get it back enough without the brake lock latching. Rite now it will idle when I let off the pedal until I pull back on the pedal.
Is there a way to fix this or do I need to shorten the rod?

After removing the top and driving around the yard I found out that the top bolts hold the front cowl on.
Should the cowl slip easly into the aluminum strip around the dash?
Mine is a very tight fit I had a hard time getting it back in the track.
