You need a rear axle , a clutch for it, an engine, an engine cradle, a clutch for that.

You will need an exhaust system of some sort, but you *could* make that out of plumbing parts.. temporarily..I guess.

The other stuff (except the cradle) can't be home made..

I am not sure you can do it for a 1000. you would have to collect the parts from bargain sources over time, or get lucky quickly..

I think I covered it.. there will be several ancillary devices like throttle and ignition hookups and choke mechanism if you need it, fuel pump, gas tank,
battery, all that.. but just the initial stuff is what you need.

Your best bet is to find a TXT witha blown motor and rob all the stuff you need off that, I guess ?
