2002 cc ds testing bad controller
Just purchased a 2002 club car ds series cart. 48v. The previous owner said the cart got wet in the rain without the back access panned on and directly rained on controller and after that I would occasionally work. The last time it operated (two weeks ago) the cart ran fine for 30 feet or so then slowed to a stop. Released throttle and engaged again and the cart took off very fast for a short period of time then quit. Has not worked since then. He believes it is the controller. The solenoid clicks when pedal is pressed but motor does not engage. The battery voltage meter is reading 50.0 volts on the dash. Anyway to test if it is s controller problem without replacing it.
