With a rear facing seat and hills...I would go gas. More power and you can turn up the govenor for more speed for no cost. Problem is, you must decide if you like a "sparky" or a "gasser". Personally, with the cost of batteries these days, I'd put up with allitle more noise and go gas. Just my 2 cents worth. Dave
