if your shackels are about 9 inch long sounds like you might have a Z lift. the main frame behine the front steering box , is the frame cut and the front end lowerd by z shape bracket. friends at the camp ground have this type of lift. I installed a Z lift on my cart, but installed the rear spring over axle.
