if i wire the 6-12 volt batteries as if they were 6-6 volt batteries then i'd be charging 72 volts. the way i have them is in fact 36 volts. my charger was working fine but when i went to charge it the other day, i turned the timer knob and it started but then shut off and not even the timer worked. not to mention it smelled really bad. i took the cover off and as far as i can tell, it's ok but it wont work. that is why i am questioning it.
