Can you see the splined pinion? Are the threads broken off of that bolt, and stuck in the splined shaft? Your bolt is between items 2, and 7 in the pdf.

The bolt it threaded through it. It reminds me of that old setup in peddle bike handle bars that you tighten the bolt and it slides on eachother to tighten. I figured it wasnt right. Do i have to take the motor out to get the clutch off?
