Default Re: 89 Columbia Restoration; Sentimental Version

As you can tell by the dates in between my posts, life got crazy busy in the last few months and I haven't been able to touch this cart. I finally was able to get back into to it today. More progress.

Even though I got the cart turning over ok....no spark. After checking rechecking the wiring and having a good bit of confidence that everything was ok with it I decided to start replacing stuff piece by piece with known good components of which I have a pretty good stash.

Coil? Nope
Plug? Nope
Plug wire? Nope
Homemade circuit board for the HEI conversion? Nope
HEI module? Ding Ding Ding Ding!

She's sparking like a champ now.

A public service announcement for future readers. When you are buying electrical components for your cart try to buy two even know you likely only need one. Electrical things can be tough to test. Replacement testing is more reliable for me, at least.
